DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the fifth anniversary of the BAAND Together Dance Festival\, as five of NYC’s most iconic dance companies—Ballet Hispánico\, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater\, American Ballet Theatre\, New York City Ballet\, and Dance Theatre of Harlem—reunite on one stage from July 29–August 2. This is the rare chance to experience beloved programming curated collaboratively by the artistic directors of each company\, including repertory favorites. In the afternoon\, the companies bring their unique teaching approach to participants of all ages with FREE dance workshops in the David Geffen Hall lobby. \nThe festival is made possible by Chanel.

These dance stars will be joined by rising artists including Dominika Afanasenkov\, Olivia Bell\, Gilbert Bolden III\, India Bradley\, Naomi Corti\, and KJ Takahashi from New York City Ballet\, Royal Danish Ballet’s Philip Duclos\, ABT’s Takumi Miyake\, Philadelphia Ballet’s Mayfield Myers\, independent dancers Stephanie Terasaki\, Rachel Lockhart (MJ: The Musical)\, Zack Gonder and Daisy Kate Jacobson (Twyla Tharp’s Diamond Jubilee national tour)\, and Spencer Lenain\, Kayla Mak\, and Emiko Nakagawa who are all former Vail Dance Festival Scholars-in-Residence and are now emerging young artists in the professional dance world.
