Set to Stravinsky’s fiery Capriccio for Piano and Orchestra\, it fuses classical technique with modern exuberance in a playful yet sophisticated display of sharp angles and syncopated rhythms. \nIn the compelling UnSaid\, Rowe uses the duet to embody Jonathan Safran Foer’s words: “We had everything to say to each other\, and no ways to say it.” The piece gives voice to the unspoken\, capturing the longing\, conflict\, and vulnerability that exists in the space between two people in motion.
