Giving Tuesday With En Face
Our beloved ballet partners give us beauty with each performance.
It’s time to give back to them.
At the core of Ballet Idaho’s mission is a dedication to engaging with Idaho communities and offering accessible educational experiences for all. Programs include Student Matinee which reaches 5,000 students, Learning Through Dance which integrates dance into the curriculum of schools, and By Special Invitation which gives tickets to organizations such as the Boys and Girls Club, The Women’s and Children’s Alliance, Agency for New Americans, and the Veterans Administration.
As Boston Ballet welcomes new students and families to the artform, you‘re invited to explore their commitment to community education and learn more about the program. Your support will enable inclusive opportunities for connection and inspire a lifelong love of the arts through the shared, human experience of dance.
This year Dance Theatre of Harlem is turning Giving Tuesday on November 28 into Give Back Tuesday. They are so excited to bring Instagram Live classes to our fans around the world, free classes to NYC area students, and conduct a coat drive that will help keep their community warm. Visit @dancetheatreofharlem on Instagram to take their free live-streamed classes today from wherever you are.
Since 2006, the Indianapolis School of Ballet has been home to artists of all ages, from young children through adults.
Help the Indianapolis School of Ballet continue inspiring all dancers in their community by making a gift.
This Giving Tuesday, all gifts to Nashville Ballet will support their Holiday Magic program, which provides 2,000 complimentary Nashville’s Nutcracker tickets to members of our community who might otherwise not have the opportunity to attend.
This season, PNB’s dancers will rehearse and perform in over 2,000 pair of custom-fit, handcrafted pointe shoes. At $120 a pair, with each dancer averaging 80 pairs per season, their pointe shoe budget adds up quickly. But the artistry is worth the expense! From Odile’s 32 fouettés, to the corps de ballet in Emergence, the Snow Scene in The Nutcracker, and everything in between, pointe shoes deliver confidence, security, and balance to the dancers who wear them as well as to PNB as a whole.
This past May, thousands of Philadelphia Ballet‘s pointe shoes were damaged by water and smoke as a result of a fire that affected their studios on North Broad. This unexpected event caused nearly $400,000 of damage to their inventory. This represents more than one year’s worth of pointe shoes.
Philadelphia Ballet is in urgent need of support to replace these damaged pointe shoes. Sponsor the shoes that help our dancers soar!
Every donation to Sacramento Ballet makes a real difference in the lives of so many people.
Your contribution today will directly help fund costume production and staging of Sacramento Ballet‘s beloved productions like Nutcracker and Cinderella.
Beautiful costumes play an essential role in a ballet’s production on stage and Saint Louis Ballet is very excited to unveil new Snow Corps de Ballet costumes in this year’s production of The Nutcracker.
The prior tutus are over 30 years old! Stage lighting and sets help these costumes look magical on stage, but up close you’ll see the wear and tear they’ve had. Donate, get your name stitched into a new tutu, and help Saint Louis Ballet achieve more beautiful costuming in the future!
Nestled in the heart of the city, San Francisco Ballet embodies the beloved qualities that characterize the Bay Area: resilience, artistic passion, and pushing the creative envelope. From their introduction of Nutcracker into the common vernacular as a holiday tradition more than 75 years ago to their spectacular reimagining of what ballet can be, SF Ballet is deeply committed to forging bold new paths.
Donations support The Washington Ballet‘s performances, their ballet school, and their community engagement programs.
It takes a lot to keep Texas Ballet Theater‘s dancers’ toes pointed and their bodies in motion. Dancers of all ages require space for training, access to the best instructors, physical therapy to recover, and a stage on which to perform. Your gift to the Annual Fund ensures access to these ballet essentials.
