I am very excited to be a part of TWB, and I am looking forward to guiding the dancers through the varied repertoire TWB is presenting this season.

Dancers know from the very beginning that they will have two lives: the first comprises the highly focused—some call it tunnel vision— years of training and performing, and then comes Part 2, which begins the day after the curtain falls on their final performance.

Principal Dancer Isaac Hernández joined SF Ballet as a member of the corps de ballet in 2008 and was promoted to Soloist in 2011. He continued his career in Europe, joining the ranks of Dutch National Ballet, and most recently, English National Ballet. He returned to SF Ballet in 2022 as a Principal Dancer.

It is 2023, and theater and live entertainment are back and seemingly stronger and more inclusive than ever.
