Legacy in Motion reflects both where Sacramento Ballet has been and where it is going, honoring the artists, audiences, and traditions that have defined it while embracing new perspectives and creative possibilities.




Long and Winding Road

A dynamic mixed repertory program featuring Stanton Welch’s neoclassical work set to baroque-inspired Beatles arrangements, alongside a Balanchine piece (to be announced), and a legacy work honoring the late Ron Cunningham.
Nutcracker
SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center | December 12–24, 2026
Sacramento’s beloved holiday tradition returns with an extended performance run through Christmas Eve and a sensory-friendly performance. Nutcracker features over 250 local children and Tchaikovsky’s iconic score performed live by the Sacramento Philharmonic & Opera.
