Our staff has each chosen a favorite holiday song, along with the memories or traditions that make it meaningful to them. From timeless classics to modern favorites, this playlist reflects the heart and holiday spirit of En Face. Dive in and let our tunes add warmth to your Nutcracker experience! 

1. “Sleigh Ride” – The Boston Pops Orchestra

   When my son was born, it snowed on his first Christmas, and I remember being up throughout the night with him while watching the silent snow fall and listening to this song.
2. “White Christmas” – Irving Berlin
   Chosen by: Katrina, Associate Publisher, National Sales & Revenue Strategy
   I listened to it as a little girl and it reminds me of cozy Christmases surrounded by snow.
3. “Somewhere in My Memory” – John Williams
   Chosen by: Jane, Designer
   It’s been a family tradition to watch the movie Home Alone every Christmas since I was a kid. Plus, anything John Williams writes is wonderful.
4. “Mele Malikimaka” – Bing Crosby & The Andrews Sisters

   Such a fun, catchy tune, plus it drives my wife insane when I play it.
5. “The Sussex Carol” – Traditional

   Nothing captures the excitement of the festive season like the traditional carols. This carol in particular reminds me of Christmases with my grandparents, filled with mince pies, walks in the crisp winter air, and crackling fires.
6. “All I Want for Christmas is You” – Mariah Carey

   It’s fun to see all the hype that kicks off in October to remind us all that Christmas is right around the corner. Like it or not.
7. “Christmas Time Is Here” – The Vince Guaraldi Trio

   It’s from A Charlie Brown Christmas. It just feels like the background track to the season and I can remember listening to it in every era of my life.
8. “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch” – Small Town Titans

9. “Count Your Blessings (Instead of Sheep)” – Irving Berlin

   White Christmas—simply the best Christmas musical ever made. It’s such a heartwarming reminder that what truly matters during the holidays and every other day of the year are the simple, lovely things and the people who share them with you.
10. “Joy to the World” – Aretha Franklin

    I’m partial to this version. Also the Otis Redding and Lady Gaga versions of “White Christmas.”
11. “Falala Hohoho” – Sharpe Family Singers

    If you want a good laugh, this will definitely deliver. And to throw a little Gen Z flare in here, John Legend’s “Bring Me Love” never misses. I was his biggest fan growing up. And you can’t forget Ariana Grande’s “Last Christmas.”
12. “I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas” – Gayla Peevey
