The season opens with Giselle, a masterwork of the 19th century that is both technically difficult and wildly emotional. Giselle has been performed by all of the world’s great ballet companies and will offer live accompaniment by the talented Chamber Music Society of Saint Louis.

Gen Horiuchi’s The Nutcracker rings in the holidays starting Thanksgiving weekend. Year after year, the production attracts new audience members who delight in the dancing and spectacle on the Touhill stage.

Saint Louis Ballet returns to the beautiful Kirkwood Performing Arts Center for its annual Valentine’s weekend programs, this season featuring outstanding choreography and live music. Love X 3 celebrates love with three short ballets: Square Dance by the incomparable George Balanchine, innovative choreographer Brian Enos’s Reel Time and a nod to the Blues by the dynamic duo of director Gen Horiuchi and composer TOYA (with live accompaniment).

The Sleeping Beauty is performed to Tchaikovsky’s rich and recognizable score and is brought to life in this tale that never grows old. This is the pinnacle of classical ballet!
