Essential item in your dance bag?
My THERABAND, headphones, and a roller are my perfect trio for warming my body up for the day and for when I catch a moment to stretch/roll out any aches and pains.Â
Movie you can re-watch till the end of time?
I have such a soft spot for romance movies, so I think I could probably watch Pride and Prejudice forever and not get sick of this beautiful film.Â
Dancer who’s inspired you?
My biggest inspiration in life has always been my mom. Growing up, I got to watch her dance and her passion for this art form was infectious. She is constantly a reminder of why I love ballet and why I continue to love it even through rough times.
Song/artist/playlist you’ve been playing on repeat?
Music plays such a large role in keeping me going each day, so I really listen to just about everything but recently a good mix of Kendrick Lamar, Sade, and Lana Del Rey have been on rotation.
Least favorite dance step?
Brisé volé in pointe shoes is definitely not my favorite step by any means.
How do you like to spend your time outside of dance?
When I am not at the studio, you can usually catch me doing schoolwork for college, hanging out with friends, or in front of the camera! A big hobby of mine is modeling, so doing photoshoots, both with friends or professionally, is something I find so fun when I have the time.Â
Best place to hang out in your company’s home city?
A sunset hangout at Centennial Park is always such a great time. It’s such a fun area to relax on a blanket, or walk around and chat with friends!
Dream role?
One role I would love to perform is in the adagio from Spartacus. From the gorgeous score to the unique choreography, this pas de deux is definitely a dream!Â
Go-to coffee shop order?
Definitely either a hot almond milk flat white with a fun seasonal flavor, or an iced dirty chai!
Essential post-show ritual?
Having a nice meal with friends or family and debriefing about all things life! Being surrounded by love and laughter after shows relaxes and grounds me after long and exciting show days!
