Cincinnati Ballet has announced its 2025–26 Season, curated by Artistic Director Cervilio Miguel Amador. This is Amador’s first season since becoming the company’s permanent artistic director. 

Aronoff Center for the Arts | Sep 12–20, 2025

The Kaplan New Works Series is a curated collection of fresh, world-premiere works from some of dance’s most sought-after choreographers. Staged in the intimate Jarson-Kaplan Theater at the Aronoff Center, the contemporary series is a perennial patron favorite.

Aronoff Center for the Arts | Nov 7–15, 2025

Leap into the jazz age with the regional premiere of choreographer Septime Webre’s opulent The Great Gatsby at the Aronoff Center. Inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic 1925 novel, this production dazzles with stylish dancing, entangled romances, and sultry sounds of live jazz.

Cincinnati’s favorite holiday tradition, The Nutcracker presented by Sheakley Family, will delight audiences at Music Hall. Journey to the Land of Sweets with Clara and her Nutcracker Prince and make lasting family memories.

Experience Swan Lake, the breathtaking romantic tragedy. Hailed as one of the greatest ballets of all time, this production features virtuosic choreography by Kirk Peterson after Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov, with live music performed by the incredible Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.

Aronoff Center for the Arts | Apr 10–12, 2026

Liberty In Motion, a patriotic triple bill concludes the 2025–2026 Season at the Aronoff Center, featuring works from choreographers George Balanchine, Justin Peck, and Claudia Schreier.

Peck’s eclectic style in Times are Racing matches Dan Deacon’s electronic score with youthful vigor. Schreier’s First Impulse showcases neoclassical style rooted in contemporary ballet concepts. Balanchine’s Serenade is a milestone in the history of dance, as the first original ballet George Balanchine created in America.

‘Be brave, truthful, and unselfish.’ It’s the heartwarming story of a puppet who dreams of becoming a real boy. A one-hour, narrated ballet, Pinocchio features Cincinnati Ballet Second Company – CB2 dancers and young performers from the Otto M. Budig Academy.
