Find Your Perfect Match: Indianapolis Ballet and Friends of Indy Animals Partner to Promote Pet Adoptions

 

INDIANAPOLIS (February 4, 2025) – Love is in the air, and this Valentine’s season, the Indianapolis Ballet and Friends of Indy Animals are coming together once again to help find forever homes for adoptable dogs at Indianapolis Animal Care Services (IACS). Their partnership not only shines a spotlight on pets in need but also raises awareness for the Ballet’s upcoming production of Be Our Valentine.

Four adorable dogs—Kaida, Gotti, Seraphina, and Orwell—joined Indianapolis Ballet apprentices Anna Graczyk and Kaci King, along with company artists Gabriela Gutierrez and Avery Ward, for a heartwarming photoshoot filled with snuggles, treats, and even a little dancing. And in a truly happy ending, Orwell found his forever home shortly after the event!

Each of them, like so many others, is waiting for a loving home, and we hope these photos capture just how special they are. Celebrate the season of love with Be Our Valentine at the Tobias Theater at Newfields, featuring three performances from February 14–16. The production includes George Balanchine’s Who Cares?, Victoria Lyras’ Hellenic Soul, and Ramón Flowers’ Dixon’s Groove. Tickets at indyballet.org/valentine.
