Keller Auditorium | October 10–17, 2026

A tragic love story set to Tchaikovsky’s hauntingly emotional score. When a prince meets a princess cursed to live as a swan, he vows to save her at the royal ball where he is to choose a wife. But when he is tricked by an evil sorcerer into betraying her, he dooms them both in this ethereal fairytale ballet.

Keller Auditorium | December 5–24, 2026

A sparkling winter tale set to Tchaikovsky’s festive score. When Marie’s mysterious godfather gives her a magical Nutcracker that comes to life, Marie and her Nutcracker Prince set off on an unforgettable Christmas Eve adventure to the Land of Sweets.

Keller Auditorium | February 13–21, 2027

Follow Alice down the rabbit hold to Septime Webre’s psychedelic Wonderland. Full of fantastical dancing, color-drenched sets and witty costumes, Matthew Pierce’s catchy score, and your favorite weird and whimsical characters from Lewis Carroll’s beloved children’s books! Eye-popping choreography and spectacular surprises make this one of OBT’s most popular shows of all time.

Newmark Theatre | April 2–10, 2027

Beauty on the Brink
A circus after dark. Swordplay and corsets. Explosive movement. The one-act ballets in April’s mixed-bill crackle with energy, drama, and potent humanity.

MADCAP
In Dani Rowe’s award-winning MADCAP, an aging clown finds himself at a crossroads. A mischievous, theatrical, and vulnerable portrait of an artist taking off his mask.

Petite Mort
Jiří Kylián’s sensual, arresting ballet that moves with razor-sharp precision through themes of gender, power, sex, and surrender. Set to luminous music from Mozart and framed by costumes that evoke an elevated, Baroque world, Kylián’s masterwork probes the fine, thrilling line between a duel and a duet.

Just Above the Surface
Yin Yue draws from both Chinese folk and contemporary dance in the electrifying Just Above the Surface. Back by popular demand, this rhythmic and powerful work explores what pulls us apart—and draws us together.

Newmark Theatre | April 10 & 11, 2027

Join the young dancers of OBT School for an enchanting performance designed for audiences of all ages! Featuring excerpts from beloved classical ballets and culminating in a Grand Étude that showcases the whole school.

Patricia Reser Center for the Arts | June 10–12, 2027

We close the season with a capsule collection of vibrant contemporary works. In Christopher Wheeldon’s intimately tender After the Rain, three couples move through iconic choreography that is as serenely beautiful as it is heartfelt. A new work from Spenser Theberge draws from multidisciplinary practices to create layered and genre-defying moments. And a new work from OBT favorite Ben Youngstone sits at the intersection of cinematic storytelling, contemporary physicality, and emotional realism.
