Texas Ballet Theater invites you to experience a season where timeless classics meet bold new expressions. With some of ballet’s most beloved stories, Artistic Director Tim O’Keefe presents a season that celebrates ballet’s power to inspire, captivate, and transform.

Winspear Opera House & Bass Performance Hall | Sept 19–21 & Oct 3–5, 2025

The season opens with Trey McIntyre’s new, two-act production of Peter Pan, produced in partnership with Nevada Ballet and Ballet Met and featuring all new sets and costumes by Emma Bailey, best known for her work on SIX The Musical.

Some stories, like some children, never grow old. TBT invites you to bring the whole family to enjoy this charmingly colorful take on a timeless tale. Featuring bright neons and edgy mohawks, this performance is the perfect combination of mischief and magic as Wendy, Peter, Tinkerbell, and others dance their way across land, sea—and even air.

Winspear Opera House & Bass Performance Hall | Nov 28–Dec 7 & Dec 12–28, 2025

Create unforgettable memories at The Nutcracker. This cherished tradition brings families together year after year, offering a world where enchantment fills the air. Let Tchaikovsky’s timeless score and Ben Stevenson, O.B.E.’s captivating choreography awaken your holiday spirit.

Wyly Theatre & Bass Performance Hall | Feb 27–Mar 1 & Mar 13–15, 2026

Experience the breadth and brilliance of ballet in this mixed repertoire program, featuring four diverse works that showcase unparalleled versatility:

  • Tim O’Keefe’s Violin Concerto in D: A sweeping classical marvel of white tutus and tiaras set to Tchaikovsky’s masterful score.
  • Martha Graham’s Diversion of Angels: A modern masterpiece that explores the poetic complexities of love in its many forms through bold, vivid choreography.
  • Tim O’Keefe’s world premiere of Bolero: A heartfelt tribute blending the timeless sounds of life with contemporary expression.
  • Paul Taylor’s Company B: This neoclassical ballet is an energetic wartime homage set to the iconic swing rhythms of the Andrews Sisters.

Winspear Opera House & Bass Performance Hall | May 1–3 & 15–17, 2026

Closing the season is Ben Stevenson, O.B.E.’s elegant Swan Lake. This masterful two-act production offers an approachable retelling filled with passion, drama, and grandeur. Set to one of Tchaikovsky’s most beloved scores, it’s easy to see why Swan Lake is one of the most widely acclaimed classical ballets.
