Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Reposado Tequila (smooth and bold, representing the steady rhythm of the piece)

  • 1 oz Blood Orange Liqueur (for a burst of vibrant flavor and color, reflecting the growing intensity)

  • ½ oz Fresh Lime Juice (adding brightness and balance)

  • ½ oz Agave Syrup (for a touch of sweetness to contrast the bold flavors)

  • A dash of Chili Bitters (to represent the fiery crescendo of the ballet)

  • Blood orange wheel or a twist of lime for garnish

Equipment:

  • Rocks glass
  • Cocktail shaker

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Your Glass: Chill a rocks glass and add an optional chili salt rim for a spicy edge.

  2. Shake with Intensity: In a shaker filled with ice, combine tequila, blood orange liqueur, lime juice, agave syrup, and chili bitters. Shake well to blend.

  3. Strain and Serve: Strain the mixture into your chilled rocks glass over a large ice cube.
